We had a little storm recently pass through the Tahoe basin. I awoke early as usual and made my way to a little beach on the north shore of the lake.. The temperatures dropped dramatically and overnight a small ice layer formed on the edges of the lake, and formed some unusually patterns around the exposed rocks. the little storm didn’t yield much snow, but damn was it pretty
